Travel Insured Becomes Supplier Member of IGLTA
Travel Insured International, the service-focused travel insurance company, has joined as a new supplier member of IGLTA, the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association. In addition to introducing its popular line of Worldwide Trip Protector travel insurance plans to IGLTA members and their traveling clients, Travel Insured will work with IGLTA toward potentially creating plans customized to the needs of IGLTA travel sellers.
Travel Insured will participate in its first IGLTA event as a Trade Show exhibitor at the 2007 IGLTA Convention, taking place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Montreal from May 17 - 21.
Founded in 1983 with 25 original members, IGLTA today represents more than 1,000 members committed to growing and enhancing the tourism businesses of gay, lesbian and community-friendly travel professionals. Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the organization has members in multiple travel industry sectors including: accommodations; airlines; car rental firms; cruise lines; local, regional and national tourist boards; travel agencies; tour operators, and travel media.
Travel Insured, which is also a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), has launched a new section of its web site dedicated to the interests of the gay, lesbian and community-friendly travel industry. The page can be visited by both travel sellers and consumer travelers at www.travelinsured.com/rainbow.
