Travel Insured Joins National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
Travel Insured International, the service-focused travel insurance company, announces it has signed as a new member representing the travel industry in NGLCC, the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
NGLCC, based in Washington D.C., represents the interests of gay and lesbian-owned businesses in all industries, as well as services and programs designed to support those businesses. NGLCC works with both the National Minority Supplier Development Council and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council to create opportunities for all minority-owned businesses to secure procurement and development contracts with major corporations.
Travel Insured's membership in NGLCC coincides with the insurance company's first-year membership in IGLTA (International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association). Travel Insured will introduce its popular line of Worldwide Trip Protector insurance plans to fellow members at the 2007 Annual IGLTA Convention & Trade Show, taking place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Montreal from May 17 - 21.
