Maureen Young, Director of Finance

Maureen Young, who has enjoyed a successful 25-year career in finance, joined Travel Insured International as Director pf Finance in September, 2006. Maureen worked an eight-year tenure as Treasurer of Travelers Equities Sales, Inc. during which she reported to CEO and future Travel Insured International founder Peter Gehris while also working with William Scully, now Travel Insured’s Vice President of Operations. In 1994, when Peter launched Travel Insured, Maureen became Controller of United Healthcare Administrators in New Haven, CT. She subsequently held high financial positions at The Energy Network, Med Partners and the accounting firm Castanho Financial Group, where she served as Senior Accountant immediately before joining Travel Insured. Maureen is an alumnus of PriceWaterhouse Coopers, where she began her career after graduating with a degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
