Norman Novotny, Vice President and General Counsel

Norman Novotny earned his law degree from Cleveland–Marshall Law School while starting his career in the claims department of the Travelers Insurance Group. Advancing to the legal staff and later General Counsel of the Travelers Life and Annuity Company, Norm helped draft many health and travel insurance policies for state governments’ approval. At Travel Insured, where his legal counsel has provided key strategic support for Peter Gehris since the company’s startup, Norm oversees travel and health contracts, licensing, claim review, agency legal support and assistance in product development.
