What Baggage Delay Covers

• applies to the outward portion of your journey only from your original trip departure point, when your checked baggage is delayed from arrival at your final destination
• applies after 24 hours for the Trip Protector Lite and Trip Protector Lite Expanded plans, 12 hours for Worldwide Trip Protector Gold and Worldwide Trip Protector, and 6 hours for Worldwide Trip Protector if you purchase the Baggage Upgrade
• reimburses expenses for necessary personal effects (such as clothing and personal care products)

If you have purchased the Sports Equipment/Medical/Fees option with your plan, you can be reimbursed up to $1,000 for rental replacement if your sporting equipment is delayed.
