A Tropical Storm was identified at 5 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 after reaching sustained winds of 40 miles per hour in the southern Atlantic Ocean, about 520 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands. It was given the name Earl by the U.S. National Weather Service Hurricane Center, and was moving westward over the Atlantic.
Travel Insured International plans purchased on or after August 25, 2010 will not provide coverage for adverse weather claims due to Tropical Storm Earl or its resulting weather pattern.
