A Tropical Storm was identified at 5 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 after reaching sustained winds of 40 miles per hour at a location about 120 miles north of Cozumel, Mexico. It was given the name Tropical Storm Don by the U.S. National Weather Service Hurricane Center, and was moving west-northwest over the Gulf of Mexico.
