A Tropical Storm was identified at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 after reaching sustained winds of 40 miles per hour at a location in the Gulf of Mexico about 200 miles southeast of Cameron, LA. It was given the name Tropical Storm Lee by the U.S. National Weather Service Hurricane Center as it moved to the northwest over the Gulf of Mexico.

Travel Insured International plans purchased on or before Sept. 1, 2011 can provide coverage for adverse weather claims due to Tropical Storm Lee or its resulting weather pattern. Travel Insured plans can provide coverage for adverse weather claims due to future tropical storms and their resulting weather patterns provided plans are purchased by the day before the date on which a covered storm is identified and named by the U.S. National Weather Service.
