- Divide it by your total trip cost

PER DAY EXAMPLE

Trip Length: 10 days
Plan Cost: $144
$144 ÷ 10 = $14 per day for trip coverage
PERCENTAGE EXAMPLE
Trip Cost: $3,000
Trip Length: 10 days
Plan Cost: $144
$144 ÷ $3,000 = 4.8% of your trip cost
