The Handy Airport Checklist

Check each off before you head to the airport!

Check-In Online: Save time at the airport by checking-in online up to 24 hours before a flight. You can also download and print your boarding pass.
Carry-On Essentials: Spare change of clothes, Toiletries, Phone & Charger, Tablet, Headphones, Book, Medication, Etc.
Check Baggage Fees: Find out if your airline has checked baggage fees. Fees on domestic flights may differ from international flights. They apply per bag, per person, each way.
Valid ID: Driver's License, Passport, Passport Card, Permanent Resident Card, Travel Visa, Birth Certificate, Etc.
ID Copies: Make copies of your ID's and keep them separate from the originals in case of loss or theft.
Travel Insurance Documents: Bring travel insurance documents listing coverage details and contact information.
Travel Confirmations: Bring copies of hotel, car rental, and airport transfer confirmations.
Comfort Items: Travel pillow, Eye Mask, Blanket, Shawl or Scarf, Slippers, Etc.
Airport Parking: Check prices for short term or long-term parking.
Security Checkpoints: Allow enough time to get through security checkpoints. Rule of thumb: 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.
