Dan Wegrzyn is the Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast. Before becoming a Sales Manager, Dan was Account Administrator who specialized in product training, both on-site and online. On average, Dan conducted 3-4 live webinars per week on our Group Programs, TAP Training, and Custom Training. To this day, Dan still plays a vital role with our webinar trainings. When he is not offering training sessions, Dan manages over 250 Accounts, who conduct business in all states throughout the U.S. Aside from training and managing his own Accounts, he maintains strong relationships with our Sales Managers to help maintain and grow our Accounts. Before joining the Sales Team, Dan was a Senior Customer Care Specialist who was a new hire mentor and provided thorough system and product training for the new hires to ensure they would provide service excellence. To this day, he maintains a steady relationship with Customer Care to provide vital details about new accounts and procedural changes that may occur.
Within the travel industry, Dan is a board member on the San Diego Pacific Asia Travel Association, one of the largest growing chapters in Southern California. Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for profit association that is internationally acclaimed for acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. The Association provides aligned advocacy, insightful research and innovative events to its member organizations.
Prior to joining Travel Insured in 2013, Dan studied Sports Management at Southern New Hampshire University where he gained great insight about Sports Management and Business Management as a whole. Outside of work, Dan is an avid hockey fan and enjoys playing golf in his free time.
