Winter Storm Impacts Northeast Travel

by John Stone | Feb 14, 2010
Travel Insured explains coverage and benefits in regard to a snowstorm.

A February snowstorm that blanketed the Ohio Valley with upwards of eight inches of snow is now targeting the mid-Atlantic and northeast.

Though the metropolitan hubs may be on the fringes of the heaviest snowfall, travel at many of the region’s major airports may be impacted.

Travel Insured’s Worldwide Trip Protector travel insurance plan provides coverage for flight delays, meal and lodging expenses, and also baggage loss, which is also more likely in inclement weather conditions.
