A Tropical Storm was identified at 5 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 after reaching sustained winds of 40 miles per hour at a location about 550 miles northwest of the Cape Verde Islands in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. It was given the name Tropical Storm Lisa by the U.S. National Weather Service Hurricane Center, and was moving north over the Atlantic.
Travel Insured International plans purchased on or after September 21, 2010 will not provide coverage for adverse weather claims due to Tropical Storm Lisa or its resulting weather pattern.
