Our Travel Medical plan is available to US residents traveling outside of the United States. The plan includes Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, and Baggage benefits, as well as a range of travel assistance services, such as Prescription Drug/Eyeglass Replacement. All of our Worldwide Trip Protector plans include medical benefits as well as trip cancellation benefits.

Medical or Legal Assistance
Medical and Legal assistance services are offered in addition to your coverage for sickness or injury. They include: 1) Medical or Legal Referral 2) Bail Bond 3) Hospital Admission Guarantee (to secure hospital admission after other means have proven unsuccessful – includes advance payment if required) 4) Inoculation Information.
Passport Replacement/Visa Information
In the event your passport or visa gets lost or stolen, the assistance company will provide guidance and referrals for obtaining a replacement passport and/or foreign visas.
Lost Baggage Retrieval
Lost Baggage Retrieval assistance is offered in addition to your baggage coverage, and provides direct assistance in contacting airlines, etc., for locating your lost baggage.
Prescription Drug/Eyeglass Replacement
This service provides assistance in replacing your prescription drugs or eyeglasses. (The cost for prescription drug replacement is covered under your baggage benefit; the cost for eyeglass replacement is not covered.)

A: You can select Emergency Accident/Sickness Medical Expenses limits of $100,000, $250,000 or $500,000.
Q: Does this plan have a deductible?
A: Yes, there is a $250 deductible per injury/illness.
Q: What will I receive after enrollment?
A: You will receive a fulfillment package via email, which will contain a Confirmation of Benefits with benefit limits and important phone numbers as well as your state specific plan which details the benefits, terms and conditions of the plan.
Q: Can this plan be purchased for one way travel only?
A: Coverage can be provided for a full trip with a defined departure and return date; we cannot offer the Travel Medical Protector for one way travel.
Q: When does the plan become effective?
A: The plan becomes effective at 12:01 a.m. the day after purchase.
Q: Can this plan be purchased on the day of departure?
A: Yes, however, it becomes effective the day after purchase.
Q: Who can be on the same plan/enrollment?
A: Family members living in the same household can be on the same plan; other family members or friends must be on separate plans.
This plan is available to US Residents traveling outside of the United States and outside of their home country for a minimum of 10 days, up to a maximum of 12 months.
