What kinds of trips can be covered?
From family trips to golf trips to grand adventures across the globe, our plans can provide coverage domestic and internationally. There are several optional add-ons you can purchase to fit your specific trip, like a Cruise Bundle for cruise vacations.
Are golf clubs covered in travel protection?
Golf equipment can be covered under our Worldwide Trip Protection Platinum plan when you add on the Baggage Bundle. If your golf clubs are lost, stolen, or damaged during your trip, you may be reimbursed up to the plan’s maximum benefit amount. Coverage details, limits, and exclusions can vary, so it’s important to review your specific plan document to understand exactly how your golf clubs can be protected.
How does travel insurance work?
Travel insurance can reimburse or provide a benefit for covered losses. After a plan is purchased, and if a traveler needs to file a claim with us, we can review the claim and once approved, a claim payment is issued.
