Benefits will be paid up to the maximum benefit amount as a result of a covered accidental injury or covered sickness, which first occurs during your trip (of a duration of 90 days or less for sickness). Only covered expenses incurred during your trip will be reimbursed. Expenses incurred after your trip are not covered.
Limits
$50,000 base amount, which can be upgraded to $100,000, $250,000, $500,000, or $1,000,000.
Benefits will include up to $750 for emergency dental treatment due to injury to natural teeth.
Covered Medical Expenses
- the services, prescription drugs, prosthetics, and therapeutic services and supplies ordered or prescribed by a physician as medically necessary for treatment
- hospital or ambulatory medical-surgical center services
- transportation furnished by a professional ambulance company to and/or from a hospital
