What Accidental Death & Dismemberment Covers

This coverage is included up to a maximum benefit of $10,000 in the Worldwide Trip Protector Plus and the Worldwide Trip Protector plans. This benefit is not included or available in the Worldwide Trip Protector Lite plans.

The following table applies to results of the death or injury up to 181 days after the accident.

  • Meals
  • Extended boarding of your pet
  • Non-refundable pre-payments for the part of your cruise or tour you missed due to the delay

There are limits per day on covered expenses specified in each plan.

"Loss" with regard to:

  1. Hand or foot means actual complete severance through and above the wrist or ankle joints
  2. Eye means an entire and irrecoverable loss of sight
  3. Speech or hearing means entire and irrecoverable loss of speech or hearing of both ears
  4. Thumb and index finger means actual severance through or above the joint that meets the finger at the palm
