Travel Insured Wins 2015 WebAward

Glastonbury, CT (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 - Travel Insured International, a privately owned insurance provider, has been honored with the 2015 WebAward from the Web Marketing Association (WMA) for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development in the Insurance industry.

The WMA’s annual WebAward Competition has been around for 17 years and sets the excellence standard for Website development. Judges from around the world review websites from 96 different industries and about 20 countries. The best are acknowledged with a WebAward.

The awards are determined based on seven different criteria – design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing, and ease of use. The highest score a website can earn is a 70. The highest score in the industry wins Best Website. A score of 60 or more, will earn a website the Outstanding Website title. Scoring below 60 points but higher than the industry average will earn the website a Standard of Excellence WebAward.

Travel Insured is proud to have earned the Outstanding Website title. Travelinsured.com scored above the industry average and above the WebAward average of all industries. Of all the websites acknowledged in the insurance industry, only one other company received the same award level as Travel Insured.

Travel Insured attributes this recognition of excellence to a complete website redesign in 2014 which made the entire website more modern and fully responsive. Travel Insured’s winning site has proven that the company’s efforts in developing an excellent website have paid off.
