Cancel for Any Reason, available for a 50% supplement to the policy premium, is an option allowing an insured traveler to cancel for any reason more than two days prior to the scheduled departure date. Benefits include up to a 75% reimbursement in cash of the insured traveler’s prepaid, forfeited, and non-refundable travel payments or deposits. This option is available on the Comprehensive Worldwide Trip Protector plan and the Trip Protector Gold. It can only be purchased within 14 days of initial trip deposit on WTP plans and within 30 days of initial trip deposit on Gold plans.
