What Optional Cancel For Work Reasons Means

Optional Cancel for Work Reasons adds job-related covered reasons to your Trip Cancellation benefit.

Cancel for Work Reasons can provide reimbursement up to the full trip cost in case of cancellation due to any of the following work conflicts for you or your traveling companion:

Required to work during the scheduled trip
Required to work during the trip and are directly involved in a merger or acquisition
Place of employment is deemed unsuitable for business due to burglary, vandalism or a Natural Disaster and you or your traveling companion are directly involved as a member/employee of the disaster recovery team and are required to work
A transfer of employment within the same organization of 250 miles or more which requires your primary residence to be relocated

Please note that Optional Cancel for Work Reasons is not necessary for employer termination coverage, as this is already included as a covered reason under Trip Cancellation.

This optional benefit upgrade must be purchased within 14 days of the date your initial trip deposit is received.
