Coverage Alert for Egypt Civil Unrest by Travel Insured

As of Friday, January 28, 2011, the civil unrest in Egypt is no longer considered to be an unforeseen event, as defined in Travel Insured International’s policies.

(Vocus/PRWEB) March 12, 2011 - A ferocious tsunami, spawned by an 8.9-magnitude earthquake in Japan, slammed the eastern coast of Japan leaving widespread devastation. Hours later, the tsunami hit Hawaii and warnings blanketed the Pacific, as far away as South America, Canada, Alaska and the entire U.S. West Coast. Travel Insured extends its condolences to all those who have lost loved ones or are otherwise affected by the tsunami.

Please refer to the specific terms and conditions of the specific policy purchased as eligibility for coverage varies based upon the specific policy form, terms, conditions and exclusions. For insured passengers who purchased Cancel For Any Reason coverage, we remind you that cancellations must be made 48 or more hours prior to scheduled departure and payment is limited to 75% of the non-refundable trip cost up to the stated policy maximum limit.
