Coverage and benefit eligibility may vary by state.
Bankruptcy or Default of a tour operator or travel provider other than whom you purchased your travel arrangements from, is included in Trip Cancellation/Interruption coverage.
You must purchase your plan no more than 21 days after your initial trip deposit for the Worldwide Trip Protector Plus plan and Worldwide Trip Protector plan. This coverage in not available in the Trip Protector Lite plan.
The default or bankruptcy must occur more than 14 days after your insurance plan effective date.
In the case of an airline bankruptcy, change fees are covered if an alternate flight is available, and trip cancellation is covered if no alternate flight is available.
Please note that this coverage does not apply if the travel agency or a tour operator or travel provider other than whom you purchased your travel arrangements from that obtained the insurance plan for you and sold you the air or land travel arrangements is the same travel company that defaults or goes bankrupt.
