Go for the History

The Berlin Wall memorial is an Instagram favorite located at the center of the city. There are preserved grounds behind it and traces of border obstacles on display to help visitors truly comprehend the decades long division between East and West Berlin during the Cold War. Visit the impressive Berlin Cathedral to view a jaw-dropping, ornamental edifice with its 100 sarcophagi and burial monuments from five centuries. Travel over to Berlin’s Museum Island, located on the River Spree, to tour some of the best museums in the world. And, of course, there’s the Holocaust Memorial—a hauntingly beautiful construct of over 2700 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field, commemorating the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. There really is no end to the restaurants and street vendors to choose from, so go and explore the culinary delights of Berlin!

After a full day of wholesome touring, Berlin is a great place to let it all hang out when the sun goes down. There’s something for everyone because Berlin nightlife is known around Europe for its inclusivity. From casual, trendy, artsy, and LGBT-friendly, to techno, hip-hop, pop, reggae, and DJ’s-- there are clubs and lounges tailored to pretty much every taste and community. This club is located in a spacious, repurposed industrial complex with three dancefloors. It features musical acts with international appeal and nurtures local acts as well.
