How does an Annual Plan work?
Once you purchase your protection plan, coverage begins the following day and lasts for 364 days. One plan provides coverage for the year. Scheduled trips can be added to your plan at any time. There is no set limit on the number of trips you can add to their plan, but the maximum length for any trip segment is 45 days.

Think about the average number of trips you take in a year. If this number is 2 or more, annual travel protection may be beneficial to your travel plans. Be sure to include all trips whether you’re road tripping on a domestic getaway or boarding a plane for a dream vacation abroad.
What can you do with an Annual Plan?
Although it may seem self-explanatory understanding what an annual travel protection plan is used for is important if you're considering it for your up-coming travel plans. With an annual travel protection plan you have the ability to use your coverage for all trips you take away from home over 100 miles. This means whether you're taking a road trip, traveling by train, or hopping on a flight you’ll have protection.
What benefits might you expect with an Annual Plan?
Coverage with an annual plan offers much of the same benefits that you would be eligible for with various other protection plans. The unexpected, such as trip delays, baggage delays and losses, sickness and more happens no matter how many times a year you travel. Travel protection plans, including annual offer benefits that may help you in those scenarios. You’ll also have access to non-insurance travel assistance services such as passport replacement and visa information, medical or legal assistance, and concierge services to name a few.
Travel insured offers the option to customize your annual plan with optional benefit upgrades, at an additional cost. These may include optional trip cancellation and/or interruption, optional cancel for any reason, and optional travel inconvenience – including bed rest and more.
