Smooth Sailing Can Start with Being Prepared

Travel Insured International is here to help protect your cruise vacation, offering an optional add-on tailored to the needs of cruisers. Some things are out of your control when you travel. Having travel protection for cruises is one way to give you more peace of mind as you relax and explore.

What the Cruise Bundle Can Cover

The Optional Cruise Bundle adds benefits to your plan that are particularly relevant to concerns travelers have on cruise vacations.

  • Trip Cancellations & Interruptions
  • Itinerary Changes
  • Travel Inconvenience
  • Baggage Delay
  • Baggage & Personal Effects

Trip Cancellation or Interruption

Cruise bundle adds a covered reason for Trip Cancellation and Interruption if your river cruise is unable to operate its scheduled itinerary due to insufficient or excessive water levels along the scheduled route, and the travel supplier provides only land-based alternative accommodations. There is also additional Trip Interruption coverage, adding reimbursement for shore excursions, theater, concert or event tickets or processing fees, or sightseeing if such arrangements are made during your trip and are to be used prior to the scheduled return date of your trip.

Itinerary Change

If the cruise line, travel supplier, or common carrier makes a change to your itinerary and prevents you from participating in previously scheduled events/activities or eliminates a destination from the originally scheduled itinerary, this benefit provides reimbursement for the unused, forfeited expenses.

Baggage Delay

This increases the maximum benefit limit for Baggage Delay coverage. Each plan adds a different amount, for a total maximum benefit of $2,500.

Travel Inconvenience

Can provide reimbursement if, while on your trip, any of these covered and unforeseen reasons occur: Cruise Diversion, Bed Rest, Cruise Disablement.

Baggage & Personal Effects

For the Worldwide Trip Protector Deluxe and Essential plans, the Optional Cruise Bundle includes additional Baggage & Personal Effects coverage. Each plan adds a different amount, for a total maximum benefit of $2,500.

The optional bundle comes at an additional cost. Full terms of the plan apply. Offerings may vary based on base plan purchased and state.
