Upgrades and Options

Travel Insured plans can come with your choice of different upgrades and options to enhance and customize your travel coverage. Optional upgrade benefits are available for an additional cost. Coverage and benefit availability may vary by state and by plan. This page offers a brief overview of each benefit. Please read the plan document for full details.

Cancel for Any Reason*

Coverage to cancel a trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the plan. Must be purchased at the time of plan purchase.

Interruption for Any Reason*

Coverage interrupt a trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the plan. Must be purchasd within the time sensitive period.

Cancel for Work Reasons

Coverage to cancel a trip due to a covered work-related reason. Must be purchased within 14 days of your initial trip deposit.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (Air Flight Only)

Coverage for injury or death involving an aircraft, up to the limit purchased.

Additional Medical Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains

Doubles the benefit limit for Medical Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains.

Additional Accident & Sickness Medical Expense

Adds to the benefit limit for Accident & Sickness Medical Expense.

Baggage & Personal Effects - Electronic Equipment

Adds coverage for electronics to the Baggage & Personal Effects benefits.

Event Ticket Registration Fee Protection

Coverage for the cost of an event ticket registration fee if unable to attend for a covered reason.

Rental Car Damage and Theft

Covers damage to a rental car during the trip due to collision, theft, vandalism, or natural disaster.

Travel Inconvenience

Coverage for a variety of unforeseen reasons, such as closed attractions, beach closure, flight delay, and many more!
